Sometimes I forget how much love this game needed in the beginning. It almost feels wrong that I haven't completed enough to share yet, but I want to make sure you have the chance to see some of what this game can look like. These are some older textures I did, but I'm not sure if I ever shared them before.
The ground items still need work, but the clouds take my breath away every time I see them. I can't believe how awesome of a weather system Nintendo came up with, and then wasted it on low resolution clouds. Take a look:
got any plan to release a (beta) texture pack that work with dolphin latest revision?

My pack should be compatible with every revision. I started the project on r2xxx and have updated to the latest rev every few months with no I'll effects. Currently using a 4.0 build.
I'm not ready to release anything yet. I may have been at this the longest, but I took a rather long hiatus. Almost every texture I have completed is showcased on this site, there is a lot to do. A few posts back I mentioned I was working on something big. It's not a beta, but it will be very influential in the texturing community. Mark those words.

Looking back, I didn't use THAT old a version. I know it was pre 2.0 though. Regardless, my pack should be compatible with any revision that supports texture loading. Maybe I just chose the right settings all those years ago and got lucky, but from my perspective, I'm not sure why other's are having trouble getting their packs to load on different revisions.
The only definative thing that I know about which will stop textures from loading is that older revisions did not support as high of resolutions as newer revisions. I will release my pack with compatibility alternatives for those who wish to use older revisions.
